Trump’s Health Buzz: RFK Jr. Advisor Drops a Wild Theory on the “Dementia” Talk

For months now, folks have been buzzing about Donald Trump’s health. You’ve got people throwing around accusations of dementia, and then there’s the stuff about his swollen ankles and those bruises on his hands sparking all sorts of speculation that things might be going downhill. But get this—an advisor tied to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. just floated a pretty shocking idea about what’s really behind the supposed dementia and those puffy ankles.

It’s mostly Trump’s critics who’ve been pushing the dementia angle. Just last week, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker jumped on that bandwagon, and he’s far from the first. On top of that, the bruises on his hands—which the White House brushes off as just from all the handshakes—and the swollen ankles have got everyone wondering about the guy’s overall well-being.

Back in July, Trump went through a full check-up, complete with some vascular tests, courtesy of the White House docs. His physician, Sean Barbabella, mentioned some mild swelling in his lower legs. The official word was: “The president had a thorough exam, including vascular diagnostics. They did ultrasounds on both legs and found chronic venous insufficiency—nothing serious, super common especially for folks over 70.”

Dr. Barbabella made it clear there was no deep vein thrombosis or any artery issues, which would’ve been a bigger deal. All his blood work came back normal, and an echocardiogram showed no heart failure, kidney problems, or anything else systemic. Basically, he’s in the clear on the scary stuff.

A Controversial Doc Weighs In with a Surprising Take on Trump’s “Dementia” and Swollen Ankles

Now, enter Dr. Aseem Malhotra, this British cardiologist who’s stirred up plenty of controversy. He’s been advising the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) group, and let’s just say his opinions have gotten slammed by a bunch of experts and outfits like the British Heart Foundation.

According to The Daily Beast, Malhotra apparently reached out to the Trump team with his worries about the president’s health. But it’s not the brain fog or swelling that’s got him concerned—it’s the meds, specifically statins and aspirin.

In his chat with the Beast, he said something like, “I’ve caught wind of reports saying Trump looks like he’s got dementia signs, and yeah, he’s dealing with chronic venous insufficiency that can make ankles and hands swell up. But I don’t buy the dementia bit—it could just be statin side effects leaving him wiped out and drowsy.”

The article also mentions him calling Trump “almost superhuman” during a talk at the European Parliament, which was streamed on the “Make Europe Healthy Again” site.

“I’d Fine-Tune Him Even More”

Malhotra went on: “If I were his doc, I’d tweak things to make him even better, starting by ditching the aspirin and those cholesterol meds. They’re probably cutting his life short and zapping his energy.”

He added that for someone like Trump, with tests showing no major vascular problems, the risk of a bad bleed from aspirin outweighs any benefits against heart attacks or strokes.

Of course, the standard disclaimer: Don’t mess with your meds without talking to your doctor first.
