What happened to Nicole Lewis on ‘600 LB life

We’ve watched many episodes of the famous TLC show My 600-lb Life. There were many outstanding characters who are unforgettable. But few of them disappeared from the spotlight while few still continued their career to inspire and entertain the audience.

Especially Nicole Lewis who was in the 9th episode of season 5 can now not even fit in a bathroom. She has gained a lot of weight and is suffering from extreme pain nowadays. Her weight was about 700 pounds a the start of the series. At that time no one was able to predict whether she will be able to change her life or not.

At the age of 23, she weighed too much which was not normal for a woman of her age. However, her parents were sober but were absent for Nicole. They didn’t do a proper upbringing of their daughter.

Once she said ”When I was little, me and my mom never really got along because she had a terrible temper and would explode on me for things that I just did not understand,”

When her mother used to be angry she turned to her father who was in a garage. Whenever he saw Nicole he used to give her some snacks which was a kind of safety and security for Nicole. ”Even as a toddler, I remember the food was what made me happy,” Said Nicole.

She had 2 children and used to live with her fiancee Charlie. But life was very difficult for her. She wasn’t able to fit into a washroom door. Also buying groceries was a difficult task for her.

Nicole then thought to do something about her health for the sake of her children. She soon started treatment and lost over 300kg. And then she used to watch the first episode of her 609lb weight. She said,”I hate the episode because that was a point in my life where … I should not have existed other than for my children. I was an annoyance to my family, is what I felt”.
