4 teens follow a drunk girl with her father’s friend and this is what happened
4 skateboarding teens see a drunk girl with her ‘father’s friend’ – then hunch tells them something’s wrong
Few people act when they get a hunch about something.
Most times, fate has its way of informing us of impending doom, but many often seem to wave it as a weird feeling.
On one spectacular night Arnaud Nimenya, Carsyn Wright, James Hielema, and Starlyn Rives-Perez were skateboarding in an underground parking lot when they saw something they can’t just keep quiet over or let go.
They were enjoying their night when they saw a fifteen-year-old girl who looked drunk and distressed walking alongside an older man.
It was somewhat strange to the four of them and they decided to let go of their fun and give them any attention.
For many, they couldn’t have minded, especially when the man already said he was the girl’s father’s friend, but what made it more suspicious to the four teens was that he was forcefully dragging the 15-year-old girl through an underground park.
Carsyn Wright, one of the teenagers, explained: “She was screaming and yelling. She just wanted to be out of there. She was all scuffed up and dirty.”
They walked up to the duo and questioned the man and he said he was her ”father’s friend” and the young girl didn’t talk either. They didn’t know how to go about the situation as it seems like they were prying on someone’s affairs.
“You don’t want to think of the worst in somebody like that. You don’t want that situation to be real, so you just brush it off and hope for the best,” Wright continued.
Their hunch was still strong and they decided to investigate the situation further after the man and the girl left the parking lot.
As per CBS, the man was in the process of sexually assaulting the girl.
“You walk in, and you see something like that, and you freeze. You don’t know what to do,” Nimenya said.
At that moment they ran after the man as he was about to flee and when he noticed they were about to catch up with him he attacked them with a skateboard.
The police managed to arrest the man and contacted the brave four teens and they thought they got into trouble.
Nimenya explained: “We always thought we were going to be in trouble because we fought with him. When they called us, we didn’t wanna answer.”
The police commended them for them bravely and they got an award for their humanitarian services.
