Donald Trump – exercise routine & diet will amaze you

Donald Trump during his tenure as the US president was so dramatic. He faced criticism from a large population of the US.

Most of us are aware of the time he publicly lashed out at his wife, Melanie Trump, and also Dr. Anthony Fauci. In October 2020, he called Dr. Anthony a disaster.

Dr. Anthony Fauci said, “When it became clear that to maintain my integrity and to get the right message across I had to publicly disagree with him, he did things — or allowed things to happen — that was terrible.”

During Trump’s tenure as the president, he once stated that exercise isn’t all that good for you. This placed his health under a lot of scrutinies as people started wondering how he keeps fit.

Being the President of the United States is very tasking and demanding. They spend most of the time traveling around the globe and in enclosed door meetings.

According to a 2015 study published by the British Medical Journal, World leaders live an average of 2.7 years fewer than runners-up. In the study, they measured 279 leaders in 17 countries against 261 candidates who did not win the election.

For the United States, the presidents live 5.7 years less than the runner-up.

Exercise is one of the few things one can do to increase their life expectancy. Some presidents are aware of this and have chosen to engage in one exercise or two. The former president, Barack Obama is said to engage in 45 minutes of weight training and cardio before he starts his day.

Former President Clinton and President George W Bush also engage in jogging and biking exercises respectively.

President Trump seems to have an entirely different opinion on exercises.

Trump once said, “When I was 17, I loved sports. I was always a good athlete and I played football, baseball, and soccer, and I wrestled. I think the thing I liked the best was baseball.”

“I was captain of the baseball team. I was supposed to be a professional baseball player,” he added.

“Fortunately, I decided to go into real estate instead. I played first base, and I also played catcher. I was a good hitter and I just had a good time. Now I play golf.”

When he became the president he knew he had to shed some pounds and soon chose a different diet for himself.

While talking about his exercise he said that he works out more than people think.

“I get exercise, I mean I walk, I this, I that,” Trump told Reuters. “I run over to a building next door, I get more exercise than people think.”

In my opinion, he is doing quite well for himself.
