My life may not be perfect, but I am blessed
I have seen better days, but I don’t have everything I want, but I do have all I need.
I woke up with some aches and pains, but I woke up.
My life may not be perfect, but I am blessed.
I am blessed because I woke up to a new day still hale and healthy.
My life has been like it’s on a knife-edge after I survived three different surgeries. I was shot twice in my stomach at the club; a few years later I underwent surgery for appendix and the last one that almost took my life was the kidney transplant.
The surgery went on well, but I feel like I will soon leave. Each day I wake up seems like a blessing to me.
I have seen people who slept off and never woke again, they were healthier than me.
I don’t have the perfect life, or get to eat things I want, but I am alive. This is the highest form of blessing.
I will always thank God for giving me another chance to see more beautiful days. It had been five years, and I have only been in comatose twice ever since then.
God has been so good to me. I have defiled a lot of medical theories; I know it isn’t all because I’m a fighter, many never survived.
God gave me the chance to live amid my imperfections and flaws. My life might not be how I wanted it, but I am blessed.
