Kate Middleton was left “desperately upset” by William after their 2007 breakup

Most of us know when Kate and William split in 2007 and it seems we never got the details of what happened. The duo has been married for over a decade and has managed to stay strong amidst all they have been through.

Their love story is quite intriguing as they have experienced ups and downs at certain points of their relationship.

The royal couple started dating way back from college. They have always been fond of each other and appreciated each other’s company but not until 2007 when they split for some time.

Recalling their love story, the duo met through friends and Kate was very shy during their first meeting.

She recalled, “I actually went bright red when I met you and scuttled off feeling very shy about meeting you.”

“William wasn’t there for quite a bit of the time initially, he wasn’t there from Fresher’s Week, so it did take a bit of time for us to get to know each other.”

Williams couldn’t remember the first meeting nor what transpired between then no matter how long he wracked his brain.

The two started dating after a student fashion show where they met again.

They started hanging out and realized how much they complimented each other.

William told The Telegraph.”We just spent more time with each other and had a good giggle, and realized we shared the same interests.”

Kate Middleton made her first public appearance with the royal family in 2006.

In 2007 the duo went their separate ways but they were able to sort out their differences and get back together.

During their break, Kate was said to have been left desperately upset as she already thought they were going to tie the knot soon.

Not long after the breakup, William was said to be having the best time of his life, seeing different girls and hitting the club.

Kate felt he was cheapening her image and felt humiliated by this behavior.

The report reads, as quoted by Express, “It was the first such warning she had dished out throughout their four-and-a-half-year relationship, “Kate had had enough, and words were exchanged.

Kate told William that he was making her look bad, one of her friends explained. She has coped for years with girls flinging themselves at her boyfriend and for a while, she found it humorous and even flattering.”

They were able to walk past their differences and finally got married in 2011. We wish them all the best.
