Life hasn’t been so easy for the twins as they face prejudice and all manners of side talks while walking through the street.

If you can live normally, do all that you want, you don’t know how lucky you are as this is the dream of many others.

We often seem to complain about every little thing, no matter how insignificant it is, but we should always look back at the things we have and be thankful.

No matter what people had to say about the Hensell twins they never let it get to them, they live their life just like they want.

The twins are 30 years of age at the moment and this is all you need to know about them.

It’s always normal to complain about the things we don’t have. I once had a friend who always complained of not being able to afford a sports car, but I reminded him of our common friend whose only wish is to be able to walk.

There are others who life doesn’t treat even better just like Abby and Brittany, the conjoined twins.

The twins were born with one body, but two different heads and they have grown up to be people with varying life and differences.

Conjoined twins are a rare phenomenon. According to Time, they occur about once in every 50,000 births, with 40 percent of those resulting in stillborn births. Furthermore, 70 percent are said to be female.

Patty was in labor on March 7, 1990, and she was expecting her first child with her husband, Mike. The ultrasound and all the tests were normal. During delivery, two legs were out, the body and two arms, the next was two heads which left everyone speechless for 30 seconds.

“They had a pretty crude way of telling me,” father Mike Hensel recalled. “They said, ‘They’ve got one body and two heads.’”

Patty was still under sedation and only heard the word “Siamese”. She couldn’t understand it.

“I had cats?” she asked.

At four months they went to surgery to remove the arms between their heads. The parents were very particular about keeping their kids off the media and never disclosed the town where they lived.

Abby and Brittany are living a normal life just like everyone else, they are now adults who teach mathematics to grade 4 school children.

“Yeah, we are going to be mums one day, but we don’t want to talk about how it’s going to work yet,” Abby added.

They might have different preferences and feelings, but they understand each other more than any other person.

They are sweet people and great teachers. We wish them all the best.
