Most of us might have seen the picture of girl with a rare Early-Aging disorder, Adalia Rose Williams.
The Texas-born always took it upon herself to inspire people with her story and life journey. The family revealed that the 15-year-old girl has passed away.
Her family said in a statement posted on Instagram, “She came into it quietly and left quietly, but her life was far from it.”
According to the Progeria Research Foundation, about 400 children across the world have Hutchinson-Gilford progeriasyndrome, a genetic condition characterized by signs of accelerated aging.
Adalia didn’t her disabilities dictate her life or stop her from living the life she wanted. She started a YouTube channel, did tutorials on things she loved. She had more than 200 million views on her videos and had lots of fans on her social media pages.
Her family took to social media to announce her death.
Adalia Rose William’s family wrote in a statement on her Instagram page saying, “Adalia Rose Williams was set free from this world. She came into it quietly and left quietly, but her life was far from it.
She touched MILLIONS of people and left the biggest imprint in everyone that knew her, she is no longer in pain and is now dancing away to all the music she loves. I really wish this wasn’t our reality, but unfortunately, it is.”
“We want to say thank you to everyone that loved and supported her. Thank you to all her doctors and nurses that worked for YEARS to keep her healthy. The family would now like to mourn this huge loss in private.”
Adalia Rose Williams was born in Round Rock, Texas on December 10, 2006. Natalia Pallante, her mother said the doctors noticed she was growing normally a month after her birth.
She told the NZ Herald, “That was one of the symptoms that first popped up, and then it was also that the skin on her tummy was really tight and just different looking.”
“She was diagnosed at maybe like three months old. That’s when the real changes started happening. She started losing her hair, her little veins started showing up more, and her skin thinning out a lot more. I was a single mum at the time, so when I got the diagnosis, I was alone. It was just her and I, and I honestly felt lost.”
Adalia grew to have a lot of health complications, but she decided not to pay attention to the bad sides and lived her life to the full.
Adalia said in 2018, “I guess I am a diva because I always get what I want!”
Her father, Ryan, added, Having a social media superstar 11-year-old, it’s crazy, especially when we are out in public — you know a lot of people recognize her.
Her death has left many in tears as she was a wonderful person who left prints in the hearts of many.
A GoFundMe page has been set up in memory of her, so as to cover all her medical and burial expenses.
May her soul rest in Peace.
