Biden Fires Back After Poll Shows Americans Still Love Obama More Than Trump

Joe Biden might be out of the White House, but he’s definitely not staying quiet. A fresh poll just dropped, and it’s got him fired up—big time. The former president couldn’t hold back after seeing new numbers showing Americans still have way more love for Barack Obama than for Donald Trump.

The Marquette University poll asked 1,005 people across the country how they felt about both men. The results? A whopping 57% gave Obama a thumbs-up, while only 42% said the same for Trump. That leaves Trump with a net favorability of -15, compared to Obama’s solid +17.

Biden Didn’t Hold Back

At a Democratic Party dinner in Omaha, Nebraska, Biden went straight for the jugular. He brought up Trump’s wild plan to tear down part of the White House East Wing to build a fancy ballroom.

“I knew Trump was going to take a wrecking ball to the country,” Biden said, “but I didn’t think he’d actually bring one to the White House.”

He called it the perfect symbol of Trump’s presidency.

“Trump has taken a wrecking ball not just to the people’s house, but to the Constitution, to the rule of law, to our democracy itself.”

And he wasn’t done.

Biden mocked Trump’s claim that America is living in a “golden age.”

“The only gold is the stuff he’s hanging on the mantle,” he quipped.

“You work for us, Mr. President. We don’t work for you. Not just for billionaires and millionaires. I’m angry.”

A Personal Fight

This sharp tone comes just months after Biden opened up about his own health battle. In May, he revealed he’d been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer.

His office shared:

“Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms. On Friday he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone.”

After finishing radiation therapy, Biden spoke gratefully about his care.

“I thank God for the doctors and nurses and the incredible breakthroughs we’re making in cancer research,” he said.

Then he took a swing at Trump and the Republicans:

“Now Trump and his friends are cutting government funding for health care—making it harder and more expensive for nearly everyone.”

Even after everything he’s been through, Biden’s still swinging. His latest remarks show he’s not backing down from defending democracy—or from calling out Trump.
