She told The Guardian, “I was not born fantastically beautiful, but I always wanted to be impressive.”
The part-owner of the Versace fashion line was born on May 2, 1995, and was the youngest child in a
sibling of four.

Their love for fashion was greatly influenced by their mother-made dresses and they always played with
her fabrics. Gianni Versace, Donatella’s older brother became one of the most famous world designers.
At the age of 11, Gianni convinced Donatella to dye her hair blonde as he wanted his sister to look like
Singer Patty Pravo.

Donatella told The Guardian, “I was his doll and his best friend. He dressed me up in cool clothes, took
me out to discos and clubs from when I was 11. I loved it. It was the best time of my life.”
The family conquered the world together as Gianni started his fashion brand, Donatella worked as the
president while their eldest brother Santo worked as the president.

Donatella’s world came to a standstill when his brother and best friend were shot to death. She almost
went crazy and mourned him forever.
Santos got 30% of the company while Gianni’s daughter, Allegra Versace got 50%.
After Gianni’s death, it was very hard for Donatella as she suffered addiction and all she did was a party
all the time.

“For the first five years, I was lost,” she says. “I made a lot of mistakes.”
After those hard days, Donatella found herself again and decided to get back on her feet.
Designer Marc Jacobs said in 1997, ”Donatella is very much the image of the company. He (Gianni) made
strong, sexy clothes for strong sexy women. She was the girl he was designing for.”

She’s now one of the most influential women in the world, but her beauty transformation over the years
can’t be left unnoticed.
Many think that she has turned herself into human waxwork with Botox, implants, and laser
resurfacing.”
