Kim Cattrall announces her beloved mother has died. Sending prayers

Five years after the terrible passing of the star’s brother Chris at the age of 55, Kim Cattrall delivers a moving tribute as she announces the passing of her beloved mother Shane, who was 93.

Kim Cattrall revealed in a tragic Instagram post on Tuesday that her mother Shane had passed away at the age of 93.

The 66-year-old Sex and the City actress shared touching old images of herself and her mother with the caption: “Shane Cattrall 1929–2022.” Chris Cattrall passed away at the age of 55 in 2019. Mom, rest in peace.

The pictures included charming childhood throwback shots of the actress and Shane in happy moments throughout the years.

Stephen Dunn, one of her Queer as Folk co-stars, wrote: “Sending all my love,” while Randy Rainbow, a musician, wrote: “So sad, Kim. Love you all.”

The actress most recently wrote: “Happy Mother’s Day Mom” beside a photo of herself and Shane. 93 years of age.

In February, she tweeted: “Happy 93rd B’day Mum!” along with a precious photo of her and her mother. We’re incredibly fortunate to still have you here.

This happened approximately five years after Kim’s younger brother passed away.

Police discovered Chris dead after the performer posted a request for assistance on social media when he went missing.

Authorities located Cattrall on his farm in Blackfalds, Alberta, in less than a day.

The veteran musician quickly informed her admirers of the bad news via Twitter.

She wrote, “It is with tremendous regret that I, together with my family, announce the sudden demise of our son and brother, Chris Cattrall.”

“At this time, we request discretion.” On social media, we want to express our gratitude to you all for your outpouring of love and support during this tough time.

Kim rushed to Instagram to warn Sarah Jessica Parker that she “doesn’t need her love or support at this awful time” after Sarah sent good wishes during their ongoing spat.

When my mother asked me today, “When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?” the author of the post continued her tirade in the description of the image.

Let me be VERY clear: Your persistent reaching out serves as a painful reminder of how vicious you truly were both then and today. You are not my family, if I haven’t already said so.

A tale regarding the “Mean Girl” mentality that tarnished Sex and the City was also linked by her.

The actress who played Miranda Hobbes, Cynthia Nixon, also left a comment on the article, writing: “Hey Kim such sad news. Sorry to hear that. You have my love. XO.’
