Amerie la Garza, a 10-year-old girl, was also recognised as one of the children killed at the school by her family.
On Tuesday night, her father, Angel Garza, met with US Marshals, who informed him that his daughter was one of the victims.
“Thank you everyone for the prayers and help trying to find my kid,” Angel said in a statement to ABC.
“She’s been discovered.” My tiny angel is now flying with the angels in the sky. Don’t take a single second for granted. Hug your loved ones. Inform them that you adore them. Amerie jo, I adore you. For my sake, keep an eye on your little brother.”
Ramos shot his grandmother before wrecking his car near Robb Elementary School, according to CNN. Despite earlier claims that she had died, she is still in serious condition, according to the latest news.
“The suspect did crash near a ditch near the school,” stated School District Police Chief Pete Arrendondo. He exited his truck with what seemed to be a rifle and attempted to enter the school, where he was confronted by local enforcement.
