Nancy Guthrie Missing After 3 Months: New DNA Evidence in Tucson Abduction Case
It has now been three full months since Nancy Guthrie vanished from her home in Tucson Arizona. The 84 year old mother of Today show co host Savannah Guthrie is still missing and the search continues with no clear resolution in sight.
Nancy was last seen at her residence near East Skyline Drive on the evening of January 31. Authorities believe she was taken against her will after signs of a struggle were found inside and around her house.

The Pima County Sheriffs Office says the investigation remains very active. They are urging anyone with even the smallest bit of information to reach out right away. A spokesperson told reporters that people should come forward if they know anything at all about what happened to her.
Investigators sent DNA samples from the crime scene to the FBI just recently for more advanced testing. One retired agent who looked at the blood evidence on the front porch thinks it points to a single person carrying out the abduction.

The case caught national attention fast especially because of Savannahs public profile. The FBI released surveillance video showing a masked man near the front door the night Nancy disappeared. They also shared details about a backpack the suspect might have been carrying.
The family has put up a huge reward now at one million dollars for any tip that helps bring Nancy home safely. Savannah has spoken openly about how hard this has been saying the family cannot find peace until they get answers. She hopes someone will do the right thing no matter how much time has passed.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pima County Sheriffs Office or the FBI. The search goes on and loved ones are still holding out hope.
