Prince George has Striking similarities with William
Prince William and Kate Middleton’s son George celebrated his 8th birthday, and his parents posted a picture of him. The picture has left the Royal fans in awe as Prince George is a copy of his dad when he was the same age.
Prince William and Kate Middleton started dating from the University as they both attended, University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
They meet through mutual friends and when Kate recalled their first meeting she said was shy.
“I actually went bright red when I met you and scuttled off feeling very shy about meeting you. William wasn’t there for quite a bit of the time initially, he wasn’t there from Fresher’s Week, so it did take a bit of time for us to get to know each other.”
On Williams side he can’t recall their first meeting or what transpired.
The duo didn’t start dating immediately, their relationship first blossomed into friendship and they soon realised they were deeply in love.
William told The Telegraph, “We were friends for over a year first and it just sort of blossomed from then on. We just spent more time with each other and had a good giggle, and realized we shared the same interests.”
In 2006, Kate made an appearance with the royal family and sadly they split in 2007.
An anonymous source told The Observer at the time, “He broke up with Kate because he’s met someone else who’s turned his head. She’s from a decent background but is very naughty, and he finds her much more exciting.”
The couple was able to reconcile in 2008. While speaking about their breakup, they believed it was the best decision.
William said in an interview with the Telegraph in 2010, “We were both very young … and we were both finding ourselves. It was very much trying to find our own way and we were growing up.”
Kate also said, “I, at the time, wasn’t very happy about it, but actually it made me a stronger person. You find out things about yourself that maybe you hadn’t realized. I think you can get consumed by a relationship when you’re younger.”
They have three children today and the oldest celebrated his 8th birthday. Kate went on to share a picture of George and many couldn’t help but notice the striking resemblance between Prince George and his father Williams when he was the same age.Many users commented under the post.
