Princess Charlotte’s heartfelt coronation gesture for brother Louis warms hearts

All eyes were inevitably on King Charles III as he was crowned in London over the weekend.

However, for those who were paying attention, there was a lot going on behind the scenes.

Princess Charlotte and her brother, Prince Louis, were involved in one such incident.

It goes without saying that King Charles III’s coronation was a momentous occasion for the whole British royal family, and tensions were understandably high.

On Saturday, more than 20 million people in the United Kingdom tuned in to witness the coronation, making it the most-watched TV programme of the year.

The ceremony at Westminster Abbey was a success, and the royals finished their big day with their traditional handwaving on the Buckingham Palace balcony, while jet planes flew overhead. Prince William and Kate, along with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, greeted the crowd outside the Palace.

However, Charlotte and Louis were observed arriving at Westminster Abbey prior to the wedding, which drew a lot of attention. Photos, which were first difficult to see with the naked eye, provided a beautiful image of the siblings holding hands as the service began at Westminster Abbey.

Charlotte’s hand softly rested on top of her brother’s as she dropped her head as the enthusiastic Prince watched the happenings. Many saw Charlotte’s gestures as an indication that she was there for her brother on this historic day.

Reactions flooded in online, with one Twitter user writing, “Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte. “How lovely.”

“Yall look at Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte holding hands behind their parents,” commented another.

It’s no wonder that Charlotte, 8, was eager to help look after her younger brother. Princess Charlotte’s individuality pops through more and more as she matures. She is also becoming well-known for her striking likeness to her late grandma Diana when she was younger.

According to several royal analysts, Princess Charlotte resembles her much-loved and much-missed grandmother, Princess Diana. Diana displayed genuine concern for others, and Charlotte appears to have inherited that trait.

William and Kate want to provide all of their children the best opportunity in life. Their youngsters are already grasping the significance of their parents’ royal status.

Though there will inevitably be times when George, Charlotte, and Louis aren’t at their best, the youngsters have previously been commended for their behaviour when on royal engagements with their parents.

The coronation was no different. While Prince Louis couldn’t help but have a few cheeky moments, Princess Charlotte maintained her innate grace and dignity throughout the ceremony.

Prince George played his part expertly and competently.

However, royal pundit and author Tom Quinn claims that William and Kate were concerned before the large celebrations this weekend.

They were concerned that the strain might be too great for their children, particularly Prince George.

“I’ve heard from my contacts that there is a bit of an argument going on about whether George should play a more formal role,” he told the Express. “I’ve heard Kate and William are worried that it’ll be too much for him.”

Prince George is not the only royal child who has gained popularity in the public eye. Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have also received their fair share of public attention, albeit it hasn’t always been nice.

Princess Charlotte will, without a doubt, continue to be in the public eye. But, in the future, will she be a working royal? According to royal analyst Richard Eden, William and Kate are growing her with the idea that she will have to work for a living rather than be a full-time working royal.

“From what I hear, the Prince and Princess of Wales want Charlotte, aged seven, to grow up with the expectation that she will get a job and not be a full-time royal,” Eden told the Mirror.

“This path for the young Princess would be in keeping with her grandfather, King Charles III’s, vision of a slimmed-down monarchy.”

As siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have a wonderful relationship distinguished by love, caring, and mutual support! Their intimate friendship is visible in their affectionate gestures and the way they look out for each other, resulting in a deep and lasting bond.
