Prince William and Kate released a family picture for Christmas and it’s getting world attention. The focus isn’t on the two couples but the beautiful little princess Charlotte.
According to Kensington Palace, the picture was taken while they were on a family trip to Jordan.
“Delighted to share a new image of the family, which features on this year’s Christmas card 🎄,” the couple wrote on Instagram on Friday alongside the new photo.
Over two million people responded to the picture and they were able to point out the striking resemblance between the 6-year-old Princess and her great grandmother the Queen.
A picture of her was placed alongside her great grandmother the Queen and the resemblance was left unnoticed.
According to a source she seems to have started school just yesterday. She ‘had real character’ and was ‘excited’ to start school.
She might have a striking resemblance with the Queen but their upbringing was of a little difference.
The young Elizabeth received home education while Charlotte has to attend a school where older brother George attends, Thomas’s Battersea, an independent mixed school in London.
The 1st Buckingham Palace Girl Guides company was formed so that Elizabeth will be able to socialize with girls of her age while Charlotte got to associate with both girls and boys learning all the core subjects as well as art, ballet, drama, French, and music.
Her mother the Duchess of Cambridge has always been known for her impeccable sense of fashion and always got to combine the best outfits without being extravagant.
Bethan Holt, the author of a book about Kate’s style, said Kate was a trendsetter “loved by the nation, with an unquestionable influence on how people dress, style their hair and the places they visit,” according to Hello! magazine.
When her parents posted a picture of her to celebrate her 2nd birthday, Annie Holmquist in Intellectual Takeout noted how refreshing it was to see Charlotte dressed as a child.
“Is it possible that in treating children like children — both in the way we dress them and the activities we allow them to pursue — we will better prepare them for a natural, responsible transition to adulthood some day in the future?” Holmquist said.
In 2019, the family of five posed in comfy sweaters sitting on haystacks. The image was taken close to their home in Norfolk, Anmer Hall.
The year before the royal Christmas card from the Cambridges featured an image of them on casual in coordinating blue and green ensembles. I hope the Royal family gets to enjoy their Christmas together this ye
