Savannah Guthrie Begs for Mom Nancy’s Safe Return in Emotional Video: ‘Never Too Late’
Savannah Guthrie just shared a really heartfelt video on Instagram, pleading for whoever took her 84-year-old mom, Nancy, to do the right thing and bring her home. It’s been two full weeks since Nancy was taken from her house in Tucson, Arizona, and the family is still holding on to hope.
In the clip from Sunday, February 15, Savannah looked straight into the camera, her voice cracking a bit as she spoke. She said something like, “It’s been two weeks since our mom was taken. I just wanted to come on and say that we still have hope. We still believe.”

Then she addressed the person responsible directly: “To whoever has her or knows where she is… it’s never too late. You’re not lost or alone. It is never too late to do the right thing. We’re here. We believe in the essential goodness of every human being.”
She ended with a quiet but firm repeat: “It’s never too late.” In the caption, she added, “Bring her home. It’s never too late to do the next right thing.”

This comes after she posted a sweet throwback video of her mom from childhood just a few days earlier, writing, “Our lovely mom. 💛 We will never give up on her.”
Nancy was last seen on January 31, and the search kicked off the next day, February 1. Authorities, including the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI, are still working under the belief that she’s alive.
They released surveillance footage and photos showing an armed person at Nancy’s front door the night she vanished—someone who seems to have messed with the camera.
More recently, the FBI said a glove found near the home with DNA on it appears to match the gloves the person in that video was wearing. It’s a different glove from others recovered, but it ties in with the suspect’s appearance.
There was a guy detained during a traffic stop south of Tucson—Carlos Palazuelos from Rio Rico—who was later released after questioning and a search of a property there. He told reporters he had nothing to do with it and just wants the real suspect caught so he can clear his name.
The investigation keeps going, with tips still coming in. If anyone has information, they’re asking people to call 1-800-CALL-FBI or the Pima County Sheriff’s Office at 520-351-4900.
It’s such a tough, ongoing situation for the family—Savannah and her siblings are clearly devastated but refusing to lose faith. Fingers crossed for some good news soon.
