Trump Assassination Attempt Foiled: Suspect’s Chilling 5 Word Claim Before White House Correspondents Dinner Attack Revealed
A man tried to take out Donald Trump and others at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner over the weekend. The suspect sent his family a long manifesto right before the chaos broke out. Now some of his final words have come to light and they are pretty unsettling.
Cole Tomas Allan, 31 years old and from a Los Angeles suburb called Terrence, got arrested after he rushed through security at the Washington Hilton. He had a shotgun, a handgun, and knives on him. Law enforcement traded shots with him before they took him down.

According to people familiar with the case, his plan was to hit as many folks as possible in what looked like a mass shooting setup. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday facing serious federal charges, with even more expected to follow. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said the system ultimately held up and kept Trump and the rest safe, even if some people are questioning how the suspect slipped through in the first place.
Allan apparently told officers right after his arrest that he was there to shoot Trump administration officials. Sources say early signs pointed to him acting alone, though investigators are still digging into how he got the weapons inside the hotel after checking in a couple days earlier.

What really stands out is what he wrote in that manifesto he sent to his family just before heading out. He complained about the lack of security at the event, saying he expected heavy protection but found almost none.
He put it like this: he walked in armed and nobody even blinked. The guards seemed focused on protesters outside instead of anyone already inside. Allan called the whole thing incredibly sloppy and hoped it would get fixed under better leadership someday.
The whole incident has left a lot of people shaken, especially with such high profile guests in the room. Officials are still piecing together every detail, but the takeaway so far is that security held just enough to stop something much worse.
