Trump Claps Back Hard at Jimmy Kimmel Over That Epstein “Hurricane” Joke
Let’s be real: Donald Trump and Jimmy Kimmel have never been buddies, and the latest round of their never-ending beef just exploded again.
It all kicked off Wednesday night when Kimmel decided to roast Trump in his monologue about the soon-to-be-released Jeffrey Epstein court documents. He called it “Hurricane Epstein”—a full-on “Category 5” supposedly barreling straight toward Trump Tower. Classic late-night exaggeration, zero actual evidence of wrongdoing, just Kimmel doing Kimmel things for laughs.

Trump clearly wasn’t laughing.
Early Thursday morning he hopped on Truth Social and went scorched-earth:
“Why does ABC Fake News keep Jimmy Kimmel, a man with NO TALENT and VERY POOR TELEVISION RATINGS, on the air?” He ripped the show as “totally biased” and basically demanded they “get the bum off the air.”
If you’ve followed these two for the last decade, this is just another chapter in a very long, very petty book.
The timing couldn’t have been more ironic. Literally hours before Kimmel’s bit aired, Trump had already signed the bipartisan Epstein Files Transparency Act—a bill that sailed through the House 427–1 and passed the Senate unanimously. Kimmel still cracked that the vote was such a landslide Trump might try to “bury the Epstein files under it.” Yeah… about that.
This isn’t even the first time Kimmel’s landed in hot water lately. A few weeks ago ABC briefly yanked him off the air after some spicy comments about Charlie Kirk. He came back swinging, refused to apologize, and kept poking the bear—especially the one in the Oval Office.

Kimmel’s not the only late-night guy in Trump’s crosshairs right now either. Over the weekend Trump called for NBC to fire Seth Meyers too. The Epstein topic seems to be a particular sore spot: at a testy Oval Office presser this week he snapped at ABC’s Mary Bruce, called her a “terrible reporter,” and days earlier aboard Air Force One he reportedly called a Bloomberg reporter “piggy.”
Then on Wednesday the White House press team dropped a full-on takedown letter trashing ABC News, dredging up grievances going all the way back to Trump’s first term and flat-out declaring: “ABC ‘News’ is not journalism. It’s a Democrat spin operation masquerading as a broadcast network.”
Safe to say the gloves are off—again.
