Trump Slammed for Mocking Joe Biden’s Golf Game

Donald Trump found himself under fire after sharing a post on Truth Social that critics called a heartless swipe at Joe Biden. The former president is currently battling advanced prostate cancer that has spread and is causing him real pain according to his son.

The post showed Biden on a golf course bent over near a pile of dirt after what looked like a missed shot. Trump’s caption simply read “Biden isn’t even a 100 Handicap.”

Screenshots of the post spread quickly across X. Some users reacted with anger. One wrote that Joe Biden is in the process of dying a very painful death and this guy is trying to rag on him. Others asked why the president stays so focused on someone who is no longer in office. A few supporters pushed back, saying people were overreacting to a golf joke and pointing to the record of the previous administration.

The timing added fuel to the reaction. Around the same period Hunter Biden sat down with the BBC and spoke about his father’s health. He said the cancer has metastasized into his bones and further. It is very painful and very debilitating in many respects. Watching it has been hard on the family, Hunter explained, adding that he wishes his dad would complain more because the situation is not good. Even so he noted that Joe Biden is still doing speaking engagements and remains deeply committed to the country.

Biden, now 83, was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer in May 2025. The disease had already reached the bone by the time doctors found it. He has been receiving radiation and hormone therapy. His upcoming book Promise Me, America is set to come out after the November midterms. In it he plans to discuss the challenges the nation faced and the decisions he made, including why he chose to step aside from seeking another term.

The post has once again raised questions about where the line sits when political rivals are dealing with serious illness.
