Farrah Fawcett’s relationship with Ryan O’Neal

Farrah Fawcett was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on February 2, 1947, to Jim, father, and Pauline, mother.

She was described as an angel from a young age as women often stop her mother, Pauline in stores to comment on her beauty.

Pauline loved that people adored her daughter, but it was a problem on the part of Farrah.

Farrah’s mother Pauline recalled the actress saying, “I always felt so self-conscious, I wanted people not to look at me because so many people kept looking at me.”

During her stay at the University of Texas, she was voted as one of the most beautiful women during her freshman year and that’s how her picture got to David Mirisch, a Hollywood PR.

She got to drop out of school and pursued a career in Hollywood.

She appeared in  I Dream of Jeannie, and the rest is history. She was rising to stardom gradually and went on to appear in The Partridge Family, and The Flying Nun.

She went to also appear in Murder on Flight 502 in 1975.

The next one appeared in a brand new television show named Charlie’s Angels.

Her hair quite stole the show and she had the most famous hair.

The Times wrote, as quoted by Texas Monthly, “Her feathered, high-lighted, layered phenomenon was a work of art that looked as if it had just come out of the sea and had been tossed by the wind into a state of careless perfection. Farrah’s hair was emblematic of women in the first stage of liberation – strong, confident, and joyous – before the reality of mortgage payments and single parenthood set in.”

After one season of Charlie’s Angels, Farrah decided to leave the show and what followed suit was a lawsuit against her for breaching a contract and was asked to pay $7 million.

She later had to return to the show, but things were no longer how they used to be.

Farrah’s love life has always been chaotic and the one that had most of the attention was her relationship with actor Ryan O’Neal.

They met for the first time in 1979.

O’Neal wrote in his 2012 book Both of Us: My Life with Farrah, “She’s delightful, full of childlike warmth. There is no pretense or cattiness about her whatsoever, she’s vibrant and wholesome, refreshing in this town.”

In 1985, they welcomed their first child, Redmond O’Neal.

Their relationship hit rock bottom after Farrah walked on in her boyfriend in bed with actress Leslie Ann Stefano.

At the age of 62, Farrah passed away.
