Marla McCants lost more than 500 pounds after ‘My 600-lb Life’ – this is what she looks like today

Most of us remember Marla McCants from ‘My 600-lb Life’, and how she had us glued to our screens. She weighed over 800 pounds at some points, and movement became a tug of war for her.

She was on the verge of losing her life when she suddenly got a role in My 600-lb Life and lost over 500 pounds.

It was an amazing transformation, ranging from taking healthy meals, to other things she had to do to slash those fats. Her weight loss journey wasn’t easy, but she had family and friends by her side and she was able to make it through the journey.

Cooking healthy meals are pretty costly and time-consuming, and at some points, she wanted to give up, but life gave her a lot of reasons to keep pushing.

During the show, they were told to control their minds, body, and souls as that’s the only way they can keep away from fast foods.

McCant appeared on the show with a weight of 800 pounds and many taught she was close to dying because of her incredible weight.

They were provided with people who were willing to go to any end of the earth to ensure they become healthy. They were taught how to work on their inner peace, maintain physical fitness and feel great about themselves.

McCant now looks better than we saw her for the first time as Dr. Now Armal turned her life for the better and she now has a better look.

Marla was suffering from food addiction and she didn’t know how to stop herself from doing better. She couldn’t get to walk or do anything by herself, her life rotated around where she sat all day.

Dr. Now knew he had to do everything within his power to help Marla even though she wasn’t cooperating with the guidelines and was discharged from the hospital.

Marla had a drama filed weight loss journey, and she felt alive after for the first time in years when she was able to stand and take a walk.

”I firstly want to get out there that food is an addiction. I’m always going to have that mindset. I struggled with it,” she said.

Marla recently shared a picture of herself and she lost over 580 pounds. She feels like she’s getting her life back and never wants to go back to her old self.
